Senior Project Manager (Residential Construction)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with field and PM experience in high-end residential construction, preferably in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects and superintendents
• Collaborate with clients, designers, engineers, and architects to determine the specifications for projects                      
• Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are followed and completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines
• Determine and manage manpower, equipment resources, and rough/finished products from start to finish while maintaining attention to the budgetary limitations
• Evaluate construction progress and prepare detailed reports for senior project managers, company owners, and clients
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
• Real-time documentation and communication of all project scope changes including updating the budget

• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
• Ability to read, understand, and explain construction documents on all levels
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients
• Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Familiarity with construction management software

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in project management within construction for a custom residential home builder or professional remodeler
• Demonstrated knowledge of all construction trades, engineering, architectural principles, and civil engineering
• Strong leadership and management skills
• High School diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree is a plus!
• Clean driving record
• Being bilingual is a plus!

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive salary of $120,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
